In 2016, we entered into a joint venture with a Philippine partner to pursue real estate development projects in the Philippines.
In 2018, we planned a Japanese-style boutique hotel in downtown Metro Manila to introduce authentic Japanese cuisine, hospitality, and accommodations to the Filipino market, fostering cultural exchange. The design, by a firm experienced in both Japanese and Philippine architecture, blends cultural aesthetics with the local context.
In 2020, the project was temporarily paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic and uncertain real estate market conditions.
In 2025, after careful deliberation and consultation with industry experts, the project plan and property lot were sold to a local Philippine company, representing the best strategic option based on market conditions.
We are now focusing on exploring new development opportunities for our next project.
